The
26th edition of the CARQUEST Street Machine Nationals, presented by Flowmaster
wrapped up with Raul Jirik, Lemont, IL earning the Street Machine Grand
Champion award. Jirik's '57 Chevy was photographed as a feature car by

category; Peter Vaughn's 1970 AMC copped the Grand Champion
Restored Award; and Drake Devore's '65 Plymouth earned the Grand

Pro Vehicle pick! Marko Radielovic, Associate Editor of Car
Craft magazine was also on hand during the weekend and he
was "very impressed with the quality of street machines."
Marko's event story will grace the pages of Car Craft later this fall.
Car Craft Magazine's next stop will be at the Minnesota State
Fairgrounds, July 19-21, as Chevrolet presents the CAR CRAFT
SUMMER NATIONALS, co-sponsored by Flowmaster. Details on that
event are available at www.carcraft.com.
